International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women

Today we join the global movement to say no to violence against women.

25th November marks the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, and the start of the UN’s #OrangeTheWorld campaign – a call to action to end gender-based violence in all its forms.

As a member of Inner Wheel, I stand alongside women and girls everywhere, raising awareness and showing solidarity. By lighting up our communities in orange, we shine a light on the urgent need for prevention, protection, and justice.

🔶 Violence against women is not inevitable – it can and must be prevented. Together, through education, advocacy, and community action, we can help build a safer and fairer world.
